We are looking for a full-time, experienced Automotive Service Technician. You will be working in a high volume, multi-bay, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealership located in Price, Utah. This dealership is part of the largest automotive group (Blue Diamond Chevrolet Buick GMC) in Eastern Utah. The Service Manager, and the three Service Advisors work with customers to identify and sell the necessary repair & maintenance work. Your job is to satisfy the customer by doing the job right the first time, and to get the work done in the allocated time. A complete on-site parts department is charged with having the right products on hand to allow you to complete your assigned work in a timely manner.
Your job is to… Perform the work listed on the R/O Diagnose and repair systems and parts on a wide-range of vehicles Communicate with the Service Manager and Service Advisors so customers can be informed if additional work is necessary, and to let them know the status of the work on their vehicle Conduct warranty and recall work
Job Requirements High School diploma or GED 1 years of experience in a GM dealership (preferred) Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance A fast learner Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Team player Must have a valid driver’s license Ensure customers cars are kept clean Must keep work area/stall clean and organized
Skills and Qualifications Ability to identify problems quickly Good knowledge of automobiles and trucks Effective analytical and communications skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications should be able to operate electronic diagnostic tools and equipment
Other Job is full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday (some Saturday’s possible) All Federal, State and Local employment guidelines are followed Must pass a background check and drug test We encourage qualified veterans to apply Compensation package is determined by your experience and what you bring to our dealership Uniforms are provided.
